What is cellulite really and how does it develop?

Cellulite is influenced by poor lymphatic drainage and excess acidity in the body. That women even develop cellulite is determined by the structure of the subcutaneous tissue, which is independent on estrogen influence. Estrogen causes the tissue to be not so closely meshed. This makes biological sense because the tissue can expand to better accommodate a growing embryo during pregnancy.

Besides inherited factors, individual hormonal status and structure of the connective tissue, lack of exercise, and incorrect eating habits congested lymph nodes and poor lymphatic function contribute to the accumulation of cellulite.
